Case Information



Workflow displays this menu item under the Admin Tools menu when you view a case. This is a useful tool to help you debug and troubleshoot the case data and process. It also provides you with quick links to edit forms and workflow actions. The below window displays when you select the Case Information item from the menu.


This window provides quick links and case details, including:

  • Case Key: Links you to the Case Details page. 
  • Status: Displays the current status of the case.
  • Project: Links to the Project Details page.
  • Workflow: Links to the Workflow Transition Matrix.
  • Workflow Action: Links to edit the current action displayed. This is often View Case but could also be a workflow action when you enable the Action Can Be Used As Custom View option. See Advanced Settings for more information. 
  • Form Designer: Opens the Form Designer for the current action displayed.
  • Case ID: Displays the case ID. This is an internal ID for the case that can be used for debugging and troubleshooting.
  • Logs: Links to these logs:
  • View Content of Custom Field: Enables you to select a custom field, and then Workflow displays the current value of that field in the bottom of the window.
  • Reminder Actions: Displays reminder actions that are configured for the workflow in the current status. You can click the reminder action to execute the action on demand, enabling you to test the action behavior in the workflow. 
  • Clicking the reminder action will perform the action instead of waiting for the defined reminder rules to be met. This allows you to test the reminder action in the workflow.
