Google reCAPTCHA Widget

The Google reCAPTCHA widget enables you to enforce security against spams and security threats. It ensures that form submissions are being performed by humans, and not machines. reCAPTCHA can be used in situations where Workflow is used outside an organization and there are risks of automated form submissions.

The Google reCAPTCHA integration widget can be set up by editing the widget and configuring the Site and Secret keys. These keys are provided by Google when setting up the reCAPTCHA. See https://www.google.com/recaptcha/admin for more information.

When setting up the reCAPTCHA on Google’s website, use the following settings:
  • Label – Any label to identify this reCAPTCHA
  • reCAPTCHA type – Select reCAPTCHA v2 and the I’m not a robot checkbox
  • Domains – Specify the domain of the environment in which this reCAPTCHA will be used, such as sandbox.webcomserver.com

Once set up, you can enter the keys in the Integration Widget and add it to a form in Integration > Form Designer.

When reCAPTCHA is on a form, the user will be required to select the I’m not a robot checkbox before proceeding. If the checkbox is not selected, an error message is displayed to enforce selection and complete the security check.

See Integration Widgets for more information.
