Standard Menu Items

The following standard menu items and groups are available on the navigation bar.


Note: When a user logs into Workflow using SAP Portal or any other iFrame portal, the Users menu item is called User tools.

The ability to create a new case is controlled by permissions on the Case Create action. When available, this item appears in the header of the User home page as a + icon. 

You cannot delete or rename standard menu items. However, you can change their visibility permissions as described below. 

Standard Menu Item Visibility Permissions

To change visibility permissions for a standard menu item, click the  button and select Edit.

You can use the Menu Settings workspace to modify the visibility permissions for the following standard menu items:

  • Find Cases

  • Lists

  • Users

  • Feed

  • Charts

  • More

  • Help

  • Sign Out 
    When a user logs into Workflow using SAP Portal or any other iFrame portal, this menu item is not available.
    By default, the visibility for this item is set to Nobody. This means that the menu item does not appear on the User Home page, and users must use the Log Off link in their user profile. 

You cannot use the Menu Settings workspace to modify the visibility permissions of the following menu items. When you select Edit for these items, Workflow displays a message that directs you to the location where you can configure the settings:

  • Home

  • New Case

  • Accounts

  • Contacts

  • Admin Tools

  • Debug Tool

  • Process Monitor

  • Setup
