Workflow Transition Matrix

When you open a workflow, we automatically display the Workflow Transition Matrix in the Table View, enabling you to manage and configure your workflow processes, statuses, and actions. The Workflow Transition Matrix represents the entire lifecycle of a case created for the workflow.

In the matrix table, the columns and rows represent the workflow statuses. Actions are assigned to statuses and can be transitional or non-transitional. Transitional actions change the case status from one status to another, and the main diagonal of the table contains non-transitional actions, or actions that don't change the state of the case. Depending on the structure of your workflow and the activity on a case, a case can traverse all statuses, or can be created and closed in the same status.

Note: In the Workflow Transition Matrix tab, you can adjust the size of the matrix. Select the desired percentage from the Matrix Size list.
